Updated Covid 19 & Visiting Guidance as from June 2023
Covid restrictions have now been lifted for Care Homes but, it is still prevalent in the community.
Here is the updated guidance to keep our staff, residents, and visitors safe from this debilitating virus.
- All our residents have been offered the Spring Booster and the GP team has visited the home to vaccinate all residents who have consented to this.
- Visitors no longer need to book appointments to come and see relatives and we welcome visitors to our home at any time.
- Staff still test regularly with LFT test. PCR tests have now ceased unless advised by Public Health England if there is an outbreak in the home.
- We do ask visitors to still take an LFT test if they feel unwell before visiting the home.
- Masks no longer need to be worn when visiting relatives unless you are feeling unwell or have a cold when we will ask you to wear a mask to protect our vulnerable residents.
- Bottles of hand sanitiser are available to use at reception and we endeavour to keep this regularly topped up. If you find that this is empty, please inform a member of staff who will replace with a new bottle. We also have PPE available such as gloves, aprons, alcohol gel, aprons should you wish to use these for your own protection and the protection of your relative.
