COVID 19 Visiting

Dear Friends & Families,

Due to COVID 19 we have implemented a number of new safety measures. To comply with guidance and national efforts to reduce the spread of COVID 19 we ask for your support. We understand how important your visits are and believe strongly that mental wellbeing is just as important as physical wellbeing, to do our part in the fight against COVID 19 please support us with the following processes.

Please ensure you do not have any COVID 19 symptoms such as continuous cough, high temperature, loss of taste and smell, sore throat before you visit. If you have any of these symptoms please do not visit. You should seek medical advice and self isolate.

Garden visiting process 

1) We have a booking system in place for visiting to ensure only one household visits at a time, please call us on 01227 367045 with your intended visiting time and we will book you in, we provisionally book 1 hour per visits however if you would like to stay longer please let us know so we can accommodate.

2) On your arrival please ring the doorbell to alert staff that you have arrived, please make your way to the garden gate, via the drive way, staff will meet you in the garden and unlock the gate. You will be offered PPE and the opportunity to sanitise your hands. Please maintain social distancing with our staff.

3) Staff will support your friend/relative into the garden to sit at the garden table, the table is long enough to maintain social distancing.

4) Staff will come outside during your visit to check everything is ok, when you are ready to leave please let staff know. Please maintain social distancing while staff are unlocking the gate for you and supporting your friend/relative back into the building.

Video Call Process 

1) Please telephone us on 01227 367045 to arrange a video call, we have access to Whatsapp and Facetime.

Window Visit Process

 1) We have a booking system in place for visiting to ensure only one household visits at a time, please call us on 01227 367045 with your intended visiting time and we will book you in, we provisionally book 1 hour per visits however if you would like to stay longer please let us know so we can accommodate.

2) Staff will support your friend/relative to sit by the window at the front of the building shortly before your arrival. Please ring the door bell to alert staff that you have arrived.
